The opening reception for Connection and Response, an exhibit by artist Bruce Cull, will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the Agnes Jamieson Gallery.
Bruce is profoundly connected to the environment and to his historical roots. He was raised in a small community in Northern Ontario. After completing his studies, he returned to the north to raise his family and practice his art. His work expresses his fear of a lost connection with each other and our environment, and a hope that we will re-discover all our forms of connection with our response. Bruce has won several awards and has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
The opening reception with the artist will take place from 1-3 pm. Refreshments will be served. All are invited to attend.
The Agnes Jamieson Gallery is a public gallery with year-round visual exhibitions of local and regional art. The Gallery is part of the Minden Hills Cultural Centre which also includes the Heritage Village & Nature Place Interpretive Centre. The Gallery is fully accessible and is open Tuesday – Saturday from 10 am – 4 pm. Admission is by donation.
