Join us for Railroad Days in Haliburton County, the third presentation of our Community Heritage Series, at the Cultural Centre on Thursday, July 11 at 5:00 PM. 

Local historical fiction author Janet Trull will share her research and captivating stories of the early settlers who came to Haliburton County on the newly built railway line.  Janet's extensive research inspired her to write End of the Line (2023).

Janet will describe the struggles and triumphs, from construction disasters to the challenges of building a community, all beautifully woven into her historical novel.
