The Minden Hills Cultural Centre and Haliburton County Public Library are hosting a free screening of Voices Across the Water (2022). The feature documentary follows two master boat builders as they practise their art and find a way back to balance and healing.

There is a moment during the construction of a canoe when its true form is revealed. A hull drops into place. The elegant arc of a bow cuts forth. A similar process sometimes occurs in life when a person finally discovers their true path. 

Join us in the Welch Room at the Cultural Centre. The screening is made possible through the support of the National Film Board. The admission is free and pre-registration is not required
