Join us for the documentary screening of Dear Audrey (2021) at the Cultural Centre on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM.
Directed by Jeremiah Hayes, this poignant film chronicles acclaimed activist-filmmaker Martin Duckworth's journey as he cares for his wife, Audrey Schirmer, through the final stages of Alzheimer's disease.
The documentary intricately weaves together their shared history, including excerpts from Martin's films and Audrey's photography, offering an intimate portrayal of love, resilience, and devotion.
Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. No pre-registration is needed. The documentary is provided courtesy of the National Film Board of Canada (NFB).
