Join us for a special screening of Incandescence (2024) at the Minden Hills Cultural Centre on Thursday, July 3 at 1:00 p.m.

Directed by Nova Ami and Velcrow Ripper, Incandescence explores fire as a force of both destruction and renewal. Through Indigenous knowledge, ecological insight, and powerful imagery, the film reveals how fire—when guided—can sustain life and restore balance in a changing climate.

Township of Minden Hills’ Fire Chief, Don Kruger, will give a short introduction before the film, sharing local insights on fire safety and community preparedness.

Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. No pre-registration is required. The documentary is provided courtesy of the National Film Board (NFB).
